Stories

As the hype for Grand Theft Auto 4 grew past its saturation point over the past week, I ended up buying a GTA game myself. The one I got is GTA Liberty City Stories for PSP. And I've been hooked ever since. It's obviously a gazillion times better than the 1st and 2nd installments of GTA that were released like a couple of decades ago, in which a player looked down upon the city and the cars looked hilariously portly, and the people ... tiny little bastards ... don't get me wrong, I in fact did enjoy slaughtering them to bits, but I must say this: nothing compares to doing all that in 3D! So much so, that the game play of Liberty City Stories is just as good as the game play of a friggin' GTA San Andreas on a frickin' XBox or PS3. Believe me, I played GTA 4 on a friend's XBox 360 and after a while when I played GTA on my PSP, it felt almost (if not entirely) similar. What can I say? I love this PSP! (and Rockstar ...)

Just hold on for sometime... I am going to make an extensive blog post on why handhelds suck and why PSP owners find it "Just-as-good" as a console.
Till then, just change the link to my blog in the blogroll. It is http://theluminar.net ...
And, post frequency has gone down considerably. I would like to hear more about life in the campus, university, your activities, projects, geek communities and symposiums there...
